I was reading in the latest addition of Mechanical Business that “Since the introduction of the Energy Policy Act in the U.S that mandated the 6 litre toilet, the technology has saved 18.2 trillion gallons of water. That’s enough to supply Los Angeles, Chicago and New York for 20 years”. When I read that it made me smile 🙂 We here in Canada are also using a great deal more water saving products. Contractors and consumers are driving the business, making more conscientious choices when it comes to our plumbing fixtures and toilets. I want everyone to know that technology has changed. Manufactures are making great preforming toilets, low flow showerheads and faucets that won’t be a disappointment to the consumer.
