At Mr. Plumber we are trying to do our part to protect the environment. We feel that every small step made by individuals and Companies can make a collective difference. We welcome suggestions and input on ways to further achieve these goals.

We offer some of the most energy efficient oil fired hot water heating boilers available in today’s market. We were one of the first local contractors to promote the Three Pass, Cold Start, Boiler Technology so common in Europe. Every one of these boilers installed reduces our carbon emissions, and we have installed hundreds across the Island. This not only saves consumers money but helps to reduce the consumption of an ever dwindling energy supply. Until a viable alternative to oil is discovered we feel using the oil that is available in the most efficient way possible is key.

Geothermal Heating

Many years ago we began installing Heat Pumps in various commercial buildings. In what came to be known as Geothermal or Geo-exchange heating and cooling we were the first to install these systems. We can also use this experience to install similar systems in your new home or even retrofit existing homes to take advantage of this technology.

Solar Energy

When it comes right down to it, all of the world’s energy is some form of solar energy. The gas and oil we burn is trapped carbon millions of years old. Nuclear Energy is mimicking the energy released by the sun, and even wood is solar energy converted to carbon using the plants unique systems. We have systems that can convert the suns energy into hot water that will supplement your homes hot water needs. The suns energy is there. Why not capture it for your own use?
